Snow White and the Huntsman tells the story of Snow White (Kristen Stewart), the daughter of Tabor, daughter of King Magnus (Noah Huntley) and Queen Eleanor (Liberty Ross). After his wife died, King Magnus marries a beautiful woman named Ravenna (Charlize Theron) who he rescued from the Dark Army. Ravenna who apparently have an evil heart and then conspired with the leaders of the Dark Army to kill King Magnus on his wedding night. This was done because Ravenna believe that all men would only exploit women's beauty and then throw it away. When Ravenna began to dominate the kingdom, Duke Hammond (Vincent Regan) and his son, William, escaped from the palace, but failed to save Snow White. Snow White was arrested by Ravenna's brother, Finn (Sam Spruell), and held in the palace. Tabor later became a royal kingdom crushed under the power of Ravenna. Ravenna also has a terrible habit, which suck the young souls of young women in Tabor to maintain the beauty that comes from a mantra of his mother.
